Important Disclosure: Russell sustained in injury to his back early in the summer of 2007. At no time was he paralyzed but he did show weakness in the hindquarters, all of which has returned to normal. I suspect it was from navigating the rough terrain around our newly constructed home. Nevertheless, I have chosen to make this information available to those who have already bred to him, or might consider breeding to him in the future as it is impossible to know if genetics have played a role in this injury.

Russell was bred by Guy Jeavons and Mark Houston McMillan of GrandGables Dachshunds in Miniature. He came to us after completing his Canadian and American titles. We are very proud of him and excited about his addition to our breeding program as he exemplifies our idea of superb dachshund type. What more can we say?   ...oh, and he is a joy to live with. He is truly King of Laurjosh Kennels!!!

Russell has produced some truly outstanding children out of a relatively small number of breedings. Thanks to Joan Hiller (Rellihs), Cyndy Senff (Dynadaux) and Cris Natali (Criscross) for finishing multiple children.
