Buyer(s) understand that the dog named above is being sold as a pet, and that he/she may be returned within one (1) week (for full refund) if for any reason Buyer(s) are unable to keep him/her. If Buyer(s) decide to keep him/her, he/she must be spayed at six (6) months of age, or as soon as your veterinarian deems appropriate.

This dog is being sold with "Limited Registration." It is qualified for registration with the American Kennel Club. However, should it be used for breeding (in violation of this contract), none of his/her offspring will be granted registration without written consent from the seller/breeder.

This dog has no known health problems. However, Buyer(s) have five (5) business days to have the dog examined by a veterinarian, and to personally inspect the dog. Any health claims must be made in writing within this time period.

Buyer agrees to house and maintain the dog in proper condition, which includes indoor shelter, proper exercise, training, veterinary care, booster shots, worming, pest control and nail trimming.

Buyer(s) agree that under no circumstances is the dog to be placed in an animal shelter (SPCA or equivalent). If circumstances require placement at any time during the life of the dog, he/she must be returned to the breeder.

Breeder guarantees in full, for a period of one (1) year from date of birth, the temperament (not related to mistreatment, lack of discipline or abuse) of this dog. Should the temperament preclude the dog from being kept as a pet, the breeder will either refund the money or replace the dog with another of equal value when such a dog becomes available. Furthermore, any occurrence of genetic illness in the first two (2) years of life, which would preclude the dog from being kept as a pet (requires written verification from two different vets, including one of the seller’s choice) will be replaced with another dog of equal value when such a dog becomes available.

Neither the temperament or genetic illness guarantees imply any financially culpability on the part of the seller over and above the replacement of said dog.

Note: Regardless of the age of occurrence, ANY genetic abnormality, diagnosed by a vet, should prompt immediate notification to the breeder.
